After such a great 2014 we are extremely excited to announce the route for 2015! We continue to try to provide a challenging yet fun and sage Road Bike Tour in Colorado. The 2014 CRMBT will be tough to follow as we were the first to ride Pikes Peak but 2015 promises to once again be the weeklong Colorado bicycle tour for passionate cyclists. The Central Rocky Mountains again will offer challenging climbs, beautiful scenery and fun mountain towns for all of the 2015 participants. CRMBT is going to see areas that inspired early mountain men, prospectors, fur traders-you name it to come out to Colorado. Get away from the heat and experience crisp, clean mountain air at 12,000 feet!
What makes the CRMBT special is this is the tour that is created for cyclists by cyclists. We understand what makes a really memorable ride.
First off it's a the route. The 2015 route will take you over some of the highest and most challenging climbs in Colorado. But it's just not the big hills, it’s the way the climbs and the days link to each other along with the towns we visit that make the 2015 route a really great ride. You will visit towns that people travel from around the world to visit.
Share this experience with friends and fellow cyclists, but at the CRMBT you’re not sharing it with a huge crowd. The ride is capped at 500 riders, so you’ll have plenty of opportunity to meet new friends on the road, but you won't get crowded out at the Aid Stations or long bathroom lines. There are hotel rooms available and you will get into the smaller town’s restaurants without long waits. If you’re camping, you'll find plenty space and showers. In other words - low stress on the logistics so you can focus on the ride.
2015 - the year of two Independence Days.
The CRMBT is for the serious cyclist, the passionate cyclist.
It is for you. A Tour created by cyclists for cyclists.
The CRMBT is pleased to have Rocky Mountain PBS as our official media sponsor. We support the mission of RMPBS to enrich the lives of Coloradans through engaging and essential programs, services and community partnerships that inform, enlighten and entertain.
